Born in New York, Uncle Sam brought Daniel Putnam to Hampton Roads. He served in the Navy for 6 years, but now will serve his community by becoming a Diesel Technician. His future plans are to someday start his own business as an engineering equipment operator which will include driving bulldozers, excavators and large trucks.
“I want to be able to do everything,” Daniel said, “Transporting equipment, operating and maintaining them. The training I am getting here at ATI is going to help me accomplish this.”
Along with obtaining the skills needed to accomplish his goals Daniel said, “One of the benefits of ATI that I like the most is the amount of hands on training that I receive.”
Daniel lives in Virginia Beach with his wife and their dog Lexi. And, one more to join the family soon…a baby on the way. Congratulations Daniel to soon becoming a proud dad!
