Jaguar Land Rover Sites Looking for Skilled Workers to Train

Jeff Duncan, Jaguar Land Rover field recruiter spoke with automotive and heavy vehicle students in May. Jeff is a field recruiter for Calibre and lives in Georgia. Calibre is tasked with recruiting auto technicians for Jaguar Land Rover dealerships all over the US and Canada. Jeff explained that Jaguar Land Rover dealerships are looking for top entry level technicians. They actively recruit military veterans and technical school graduates. Jeff recruits technicians from Virginia to New York.

Students watched a video describing the work atmosphere of Jaguar Land Rover. He told them once hired they would work in the shop with a master technician for 30 to 40 days and then be sent to Jaguar Land Rover school in Atlanta. All expenses paid and techs receive a paycheck while attending school. Veterans would also receive a Snap-On tool box with tools upon their return from Atlanta. The tools and box are the techs to keep if they stay with the dealership for one year. They are working out the tool details for non-veteran ATI grads.

Jeff said in his region he has 48 dealership job openings right now.  There is a great career and money to be made as a technician. If you have more questions visit ATI Career Services.
